Scarborough Fair sources premium Fairtade, Organic certified Arabica beans from Papua New Guinea, Mexico and Peru. In Mexico, the Huatusco co-operative of farmers was established after several unsuccessful government projects to list farmers out of poverty. In Peru, the cooperative is an association of 35 small scale co-ops founded in 1995. It now has over 3,200 members and has managed to issue grants for secondary and higher education.
